Typical case

1. Chen Ying, former member of the Party committee and vice president of Zhejiang University of technology, has been playing golf illegally for a long time. Others should pay the fees that should be paid by individuals and accept gifts illegally.

From 2013 to 2021, Chen Ying served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Sinochem Blue Sky Group Co., Ltd., Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Commercial Group Co., Ltd., and Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Zhejiang University of Technology. The club played golf, and the playing fee of 23300 yuan was paid by private business owners. Before the Spring Festival in 2017 and in the first half of 2019, Chen Ying received one set of golf clubs from two private business owners, with a total value of 86500 yuan. Chen Ying also has other serious violations of discipline and law. In January 2022, Chen Ying was expelled from the party and public office, and his income from violations of discipline and law was confiscated. His suspected crimes were transferred to the procuratorial organs for review and prosecution in accordance with the law.

2. Zhu Guozhen, former party secretary and chief of the Expressway Traffic Police Corps of the Provincial Public Security Department, received gifts in violation of regulations.

From 2017 to August 2020, Zhu Guozhen received gifts such as gift cards, refueling recharge cards, coupons, brand women's bags, smart toilets and other gifts from subordinate police officers and their relatives, totaling 77900 yuan, as well as Maotai liquor and brand cigarettes. Zhu Guozhen also has other serious violations of discipline and law. In March 2021, Zhu Guozhen was expelled from the party and expelled from public office. In December 2021, Zhu Guozhen was sentenced to ten years in prison for accepting bribes; the bribes were confiscated and turned over to the state treasury.

3. Cheng Weichun, member of the leading party group and deputy director of Jinhua Sports Bureau, illegally accepted gifts.

From the Spring Festival of 2018 to May 2019, Cheng Weichun was the director of the Jinhua Economic and Technological Development Zone Branch of the Jinhua City Planning Bureau and the director of the Construction Project Management Division of the Municipal Assets Planning Bureau. Gifts such as shopping cards and Moutai Zodiac wine, equivalent to a total of 22900 yuan. In January 2022, Cheng Weichun was warned by the party and the income from violation of discipline was confiscated.

4. The problem of illegal official reception by Li Yajun, deputy general manager of Hangzhou Fuyang District Urban Construction Investment Group Urban Management Co., Ltd.

In January 2019, during his tenure as party branch secretary and deputy general manager of Hangzhou Fuyang Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Co., Ltd., Li Yajun illegally provided high-end tobacco and alcohol in official reception activities three times, equivalent to a total of 17500 yuan. Li Yajun there are other violations. In December 2021, Li Yajun received a serious warning from the party and was ordered to refund the related expenses.

Article 40 The economic benefits obtained from disciplinary violations shall be confiscated or ordered to be returned.

For other benefits such as positions, titles, academic qualifications, degrees, awards, qualifications, etc. obtained from violations of discipline, the discipline inspection agency that undertakes the case or the discipline inspection agency at a higher level shall recommend relevant organizations, departments, and units to correct them in accordance with regulations.

Party members who are dealt with in accordance with the provisions of articles 35 and 36 of these regulations shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of this article.

Article 88 Those who accept gifts, gift money, consumption cards, securities, equity, other financial products and other property that may affect the fair performance of official duties shall be given a warning or a serious warning if the circumstances are relatively minor; if the circumstances are more serious, they shall be removed from their posts within the party or be placed on probation within the party; if the circumstances are serious, they shall be expelled from the party.

Article 92: Accepting or providing banquets or arrangements for travel, fitness, entertainment and other activities that may affect the fair performance of official duties, if the circumstances are serious, shall be given a warning or a serious warning; if the circumstances are serious, they shall be removed from the party or stay in the party for probation. Article 93: Violation of relevant regulations to obtain, hold, and actually use various consumption cards such as sports and fitness cards, club and club membership cards, golf cards, etc., or violate relevant regulations to enter and leave private clubs. If the circumstances are serious, a warning or Serious warning sanctions; if the circumstances are serious, they shall be given sanctions of removal from the party position or stay in the party for probation.

Article 106 in violation of the regulations on the administration of official reception, exceeding the standard, exceeding the scope of reception, or taking the opportunity to eat and drink, those who are directly responsible and those who are responsible for the leadership shall be given a warning or a serious warning if the circumstances are serious; if the circumstances are serious, they shall be punished by revoking their posts within the party.
